Delivery Terms:

Booking Times:

While we strive to maintain punctuality, booking times are estimates and may be subject to unforeseen delays such as traffic, weather, or emergencies. We will keep you informed of any delays or changes to arrival times.

Packing:

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all goods are appropriately boxed, packaged, or protected. Please keep boxes within safe lifting weights and refrain from packing sharp objects in bags. For televisions, we recommend packing them in boxes to prevent screen damage.

Customer Responsibilities:

Van Sizes: It is the customer's responsibility to select the appropriate vehicle size. Please contact us if you require specific dimensions.

Parking: Customers must arrange suitable parking for our service provider at their own expense. This includes parking permits, suspended bays, and complying with width restrictions.

Washing Machines/Dishwashers/Cookers/Furniture Dismantling: Customers are responsible for disconnecting and dismantling appliances and furniture before our arrival. Our drivers may assist upon request, but we do not assume liability for this service.

Access to New Property: Customers must ensure that items can be moved into the new property without requiring window removal or additional entrances.

Insurance:

Glasgowmanandvan.com provides Goods in Transit and Public Liability Insurance. Please note the following:

Goods in Transit Insurance covers items for up to £10,000, with a £500 excess payable by the customer for claims exceeding this amount.

We do not cover owner-packed goods or non-packed goods under the insurance policy unless caused by a major accident.

Public Liability Insurance protects against property damage or injuries suffered by third parties, with a £500 excess payable by the customer.

We are not liable for certain damages as outlined in our insurance policy, including electrical and mechanical derangement, wear and tear, and loss of certain items.

Cancellations:

Cancellations can be made directly via email or phone. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

Over 48 hours: Full refund
24 to 48 hours: 50% refund
Less than 24 hours: No refund

Exceptions may apply for costs incurred by glasgowmanandvan.com, which will be deducted from the refund.
